Student Success Statement "Success is not an accident. Success is actually a choice. Are the habits you have today on par with the dreams you have of tomorrow?" - Alan Stein I think this statement is very true. I say this because being successful isn't just going to happen out of nothing. In order to have success for yourself and your surroundings you need to work hard for it. I think all the successful people can agree that they have worked very hard for what they have. In my opinion your dreams will only become a reality when you truly work for it and have a passion to do it, because good things come to good people. This quote leads of very positive vibes and will leave you motivated to accomplish your dreams.

Student Success Statement  "Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy." - David Bednar  What this statement means is obeying in your everyday life is the key to happiness. Obeying laws, rules, orders, it will make you feel like you’re doing the right thing then you’ll feel proud of yourself which brings joy to you. For example, if you see a wallet on the ground and you automatically think the person who dropped it is probably going crazy trying to find it. Therefore, you look inside to look for an ID to see if you can take it to its owner. And you’ll feel joy. That is why being obedient should be a necessity for everybody.

Student Success Statement "When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block." - James E Faust I think that this statement means when doing good you get used to it so it doesn't phase you anymore. Being obedient shows that you are a responsible and respectful person. For example when applying for a job, they're going to want someone obedient working for them and you'd most likely get the job. Another is at school, many teachers have trouble trusting their students because they just don't know. But i think if you're always obedient and respectful of others you'll win their trust. 

Student Success Statement  "Obedience is the primary object of all sound education." -Elizabeth Sewell I think i agree with this statement because i do believe obedience is very important not only in school but in your everyday life.   Having obedience shows that you're very well educated. 

Student Success Statement "What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player." - John Wooden  I think I agree with this statement. Having a good positive attitude is more important than to be good at something. For example like in the video of Mitchell, the opponent did what was right and gave the ball to Mitchell so he can make a basket for his team. This shows that being a good person is more important than being good at a sport. 

Ophthalmologist Duties and Responsibilities: Ophthalmology is the study of the eyes. Although there are other eye doctors, an Ophthalmologist is the only one who can perform surgery on ones eye. Not only that but they test your eyes to see if you have some sort of disease or injury in your eye. They also prescribe medications and maybe contact lens. Education Requirements: To become an Ophthalmologist you must have taken 4 years of college, specifically in  osteopathy. Then after you must take 4 years in medical school and have 3 years of residency. Then to complete it you must get licensed and certified.  Salary: $300,000 per year   Reflection: Would you like to be one? why? why not?  I think this type of career is very interesting, although i wouldn't want it for me. 

Student Success Statement  "When I do good, i feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. - Abraham Lincoln I think i can agree with this statement . I think it's true because when you do bad things you definitely do not feel good about yourself after. And doing good things makes you feel proud and honored on who you are. I don't recall ever doing something bad, so i cannot say I've experienced it. 

Student Success Statement  "I look at the world around me and can't help but smile and feel joy." This statement stood out to me the most because it's very important to be positive and enjoy your life. It's important because in our generation there are many adults, teenagers and children of many ages that aren't happy with themselves, or their life. Many suffer from depression, anxiety and many other illnesses that get in the way. It can be from many reasons like bullying, being abused, or just going through hard times. And this statement kind of shows positive ways and how we should all live our lives. And i think having happiness should be your number one priority. For example when you're moody you really don't feel motivated to do anything, or to talk to others. That's why focusing on your happiness should be a #1 thing for you so you can either get things done or help out others.

Student Success Statement  "Your worth consists in what you are and not in what you have." - Thomas Edison  The statement for today talks about what and how you are as a person. I think in this generation many people think about materialistic things rather than how you act or carry yourself. For example, you might think having expensive things makes you better than someone else. When really that's not the case. I think having a good attitude and personality is much more valuable than expensive clothes, shoes, and etc. That is why i agree with this statement because it clearly speaks the truth.
